The implementation of the European Space Policy will be based on an implementation plan, covering all the important aspects of the policy.

To achieve the European Space Policy's strategic mission requires the effective coordination of the space activities of the European Union, the European Space Agency (ESA), and their member countries, together with other national and transnational agencies, such as the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites ( EUMETSAT).

The European Space Programme will become a common, inclusive and flexible basis for the implementation of all space-related activities that achieves maximum complementarity and transparency.
