Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs
Background
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, launched in 2007, is part of the Small Business Act.
It has been developed based on evidence from a survey commissioned by DG Enterprise and Industry, which revealed great interest in such a scheme. A subsequent feasibility study helped to fine-tune the concept, to maximise the benefits for all.
Currently a preparatory action, the initiative is one of the measures in the Europe 2020 strategy (see flagship initiatives ‘Youth on the move’ and ‘New skills and jobs’).
