High Level Group of National Regulatory Experts

Smart regulation is essential for generating more growth and employment in Europe and making life easier for enterprises and citizens. In order to drive this process forward, on 28 February 2006 the Commission set up a group of national regulatory experts. This High Level Group advises the Commission on its general strategy to simplify and improve European legislation and to facilitate the development of smart regulation measures at both national and EU level.
