Objective of the consultation
The objective of this consultation is to collect the views and opinions of all relevant security industry stakeholders on the main challenges faced by the European Security Industry. This will help the Commission to indentify the main policy measures to overcome the current fragmentation of the EU security market and to strengthen the industrial base. This collected information will serve as a basis for the Impact Assessment and subsequently influence the Communication on an Industrial Policy for the Security Industry.
The main objectives identified by the Commission are :

Establishing a strong internal market for security by:
- Overcoming the market fragmentation,
- Strengthening of the industrial basis,
- Integrating the societal/ethical dimension

The maximum time to complete the questionnaire allowed by the system is limited to 90 minutes. Partial responses will not be saved. This means once you start filling in the questionnaire, you have to answer all compulsory questions to submit your reply. If you exceed the time allowed, your reply will be lost.
