The Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Regional Development of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with the DG Regional Policy of the European Commission organised on 14 April in Brno a seminar on Smart Specialisation Strategies. The main objective of the seminar was to exchange good practices and experiences gained during the design and implementation of Regional Innovation Strategies across different EU regions as an inspiration for preparing the next programming period 2014-2020.  The main focus of discussion was on how to successfully exploit the specific regional potential for innovations and growth within the scope of Cohesion Policy.
