The Growth Forum Zealand is responsible for establishing and developing a framework for professional development in Region Zealand. The goal is to promote economic growth in the region of Zealand and develop framework conditions to match future requirements and provide the basis for prosperity.

Growth Forum works to develop business strategies for the region and to monitor and analyse conditions for growth in the area. The It facilitates regional projects on innovation, knowledge building, technology, new business and tourism - including financial support. It also assigns the EU Structural Funds for development activities that enhance innovation, new businesses, business clusters, capacity building, tourism and encourage the use of new technology.

The Growth Forum has supported a large number of projects over the years. A recent flagship project is support for research, commercialising and start-up of new companies in the area of sustainable energy.
