This reference source lists, by chronological order, "European Standardisation Policy" documents published in the Official Journal of the European Union (cooperation guidelines, Commission reports, Commission staff working papers, Council conclusions, Council resolutions and resolutions of the European Parliament).

The titles are given in English, but most of these documents have been published in all official EU languages. We have added a link to the electronic format edition of the Official Journal.

26 September 2001	Commission report	Report of the Commission of 2001-09-26 to the Council and the European Parliament on "Actions taken following the Resolutions on European Standardisation adopted by the Council and the European Parliament in 1999" COM (2001) 527 final [219 KB] This report from the Commission aims to set out the most relevant developments since 1999, as requested by the Council and the Parliament. It basically takes a horizontal view on European standardisation matters.

13 May 1998	Commission Report	Report of the Commission of 1998-05-13 to the Council and the European Parliament on "Efficiency and accountability of European Standardization under the New Approach" COM (98) 291 This Report describes the relationship between the New Approach and standardisation, and emphasises the need for accountability in standardisation. It then indicates how efficiency can be assessed, and formulates a number of proposals for improving efficiency.
