The exhibition will offer visitors the full experience of how it feels to do business as an entrepreneur. They will experience the stress, the competition, risks, and bureaucracy, but also financial satisfaction, freedom, success, and fame.  

Inspiration

After completing the SME experience, visitors will step in the hall of fame portraying 33 successful European entrepreneurs.

Information

After having been inspired, visitors will get informed. European Commission services and European business organisations will present information on the support they provide to SMEs in five major areas: Finance, Business support, Innovation, Environment, Internationalisation.   


The exhibition is open 6 May, 12.00 - 18.00; 7, 8, 9 May, 09.00 - 18.00

6 May, 12.00 - Opening of the exhibition in the presence of Günter Verheugen, Vice President of the European Commission responsible for enterprise and industry, and 33 successful European entrepreneurs

6 May, 12.30 - 14.00 - Meet the 33 European entrepreneurs and learn about their stories, challenges, mottos, and achievements

6 May, 15.00 - 16.00 - Languages mean business for SME's: Round-table discussion with Leonard Orban, European Commissioner for Multilingualism

7 May, 12.00 - "How it feels to be an SME entrepreneur”, discussion with UEAPME President Georg Toifl and the exhibition artist Dieter Grohmann
