The objective of the Conference is the dissemination and discussion of results produced by the RIC Project (Network for Innovation and Competitiveness of Águeda). The Programme includes the presentation of several collaborative and innovative projects resulting from the network. It also comprises an Exposition of new projects, products and solutions developed by local firms.

This practical workshop will present opportunities for Research and Innovation in three major ongoing European initiatives:
Internationalisation - Going international to make one’s living
Internationalisation or simpler “Going international to make one’s living” is a seminar with a round table, which will combine the topics of company growth, business strategies of companies and their funding opportunities with demonstration of the existing support to entrepreneurs in spreading their business across the international borders. Experts who deal with issues of breaking onto the foreign markets and the representatives of various companies will comprehensively present the options and opportunities to the entrepreneurs and other stake-holders.
SMErobot – The European Robotics Initiative for Strengthening the Competitiveness of SMEs in Manufacturing - Technologies – Systems – Demonstrations
The objective of SMErobot is to create a new family of SME-suitable robots and to exploit their potentials for competitive SME manufacturing. Final results from the European SMErobot project will be presented. Particularly, demonstrators for various applications (robotic machine tending, welding, wood-working etc.) can be experienced through hands-on trials.
