Providing security is a central concern of any society. Recent natural disasters and terrorist attacks have highlighted the need to be better prepared for crisis situations. The European Commission has therefore proposed an Action Plan to boost Europe's security industry.

The Consultation "Targeted Consumer Consultation about Quality of Tourism Services and Quality Evaluation Systems" deadline has been extended from 01/08/ 2012 to 31/08/2012. 

In its 2010 Communication on "Smart Regulation in the EU", the Commission set out a strategy to improve the way it designs, enforces, evaluates and revises European policies to ensure they benefit citizens and businesses.
