Get involved in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Programme! Published on: 23/05/2014
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is launching a Call for proposal, which will select bodies to act as intermediaries for the programme at local level.
The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme will be holding an Open Day to accompany the recently launch Call for proposal, which aims to select intermediaries for the programme at local level.
The information day on this call will be organised in Brussels on 19 June 2014. More information about this will shortly be available at http://ec.europa.eu/easme/eye_en.htm.
The winners of the call will, in particular, recruit and assist young entrepreneurs who stand to benefit from the programme. This call will therefore support organisations which seek to facilitate the mobility of new entrepreneurs. Please note that it is not intended for entrepreneurs willing to participate in the programme.
By awarding grants to promote the mobility of new entrepreneurs, the Commission's specific objectives are:
- to provide on-the-job-training for new entrepreneurs;
- to share experience and information between entrepreneurs on the obstacles and challenges of starting up and developing businesses;
- to enhance market access and internationalisation prospects through the identification of potential partners for new and established businesses;
- to support networking between entrepreneurs building on knowledge and experience.
The overall objective of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme is to enhance entrepreneurship, develop the international outlook and competitiveness of European SMEs.
More information on this Call for proposal, which closes at 17.00 on 17 July 2014.
