Following the publication of the Rolling Plan on ICT Standardisation in december 2013, the European Commission is organising a high-level Conference in Brussels on the 25th of March 2014 to discuss interactively the topics of the Rolling Plan and to promote its implementation. Key standardisation stakeholders are invited to present their priorities and own work programmes for 2014 and present their own views on the Rolling Plan.
Why should I attend?
Workshops will be held on the topics of the Rolling plan and the outcome of the discussion will be taken into account in the review of the rolling plan.
Who can attend?
The Rolling Plan Conference 2014 will bring together high-level representatives from the European institutions, standardisation bodies, and representatives of public and private stakeholders with an interest in standardisation in the European Union.
What topics will be adressed ?
The Conference will be opened by Mr Antti Peltomaki, Deputy Director General of DG Enterprise and Industry. ETSI and CEN will also present their priorities, as well as other international organisations. Finally, four workshops are organised to bring an interactive discussion in selected topics of the rolling plan and its implementation: eHealth, smart grids, etc...
