The new Erasmus+ programme supports the collaboration between higher education institutions and companies: the Knowledge Alliances. For the assessment of Knowledge Alliances proposals we are looking for experts either from academia and/or business that have a solid economic, business, industrial, entrepreneurial or innovation-related experience.
Knowledge Alliances are structured and transnational partnerships between companies and higher education institutions. Knowledge Alliances aim to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity, employability, knowledge exchange and/or multidisciplinary teaching and learning. They are open to any sector, discipline and to cross-sectorial cooperation. Until 2020, we expect to fund up to 150 projects with amounts between 500.000 to 1 Million Euro each. The first call has been published and the deadline for the submission of proposals is 3 April 2014.
Our Executive Agency (EACEA) has published the call for expressions of interest for the establishment of a list of experts to assist the assessment of proposals. We invite you to register at the Participants Portal. We also recommend you to read the following information and documents:

The Executive Agency will establish a preliminary list of experts by the end of February, already. The selection process for Knowledge Alliances will start in April and finish in July. Usually a briefing session (1-2 days) and a consensus meeting (4-5 days) are organised in Brussels. The effective assessment of the proposals will take place online. Once assigned and actively involved, you can claim reimbursement for travel and accommodation expenses according to the rules and rates applied by the European Commission. The amount of the fees paid per working day is 450 €.
