Give your opinion on the tourism policy Julkaistu: 12/12/2013, Viimeisin päivitys: 21/02/2014
The European Commission has launched today two public consultations to get the opinion from the tourism sector on the European Tourism of the Future and the Regulatory and Administrative Framework on EU Tourism
The consultation European Tourism of the Future aims at identifying the key challenges and opportunities for the European tourism industry’s future and help revising, if necessary, the Action Plan for the tourism sector adopted by the European Commission in 2010 (COM(2010)352).
The consultation Regulatory and Administrative Framework on Tourism Businesses, Public Administrations, and other Tourism Stakeholders in the EU aims at identifying the EU, national, regional and local policy initiatives or administrative practices that may impose burden on tourism businesses as well as good practices and initiatives that may be taken as examples of having a positive impact.
The results of both consultations will be analysed by the European Commission and will provide useful information for future policy actions at all levels. It will also be an input for a legacy document that Vice President Tajani will present to the European Tourism Forum to be held in July 2014 under Italian Presidency.
Both consultations are open until 15 March 2014
