The European Space Solutions conference is coming to Munich from 5 - 7 November 2013 !

The European Space Solutions conference is coming to Munich from 5 - 7 November 2013.<br/>The major 3-day conference will bring together business and the public sector with users and developers of space-based solutions.

The European Space Expo comes to Munich!

The European Space Solutions event will be complemented by the Munich installation of the 'European Space Expo', a 300 m2 travelling interactive public exhibition showcasing the many ways that the European Space Programme, and its flagship projects for satellite navigation (Galileo and EGNOS) and earth monitoring (Copernicus), are improving life on Earth.

The Expo will be open to the public from 5-10 November at Bavariapark (in front of Verkehrsmuseum, next to Alte Kongresshalle).

Conference Programme on sectoral applications of Galileo / EGNOS and Copernicus

  • Five targeted half-day user sessions focused on helping specific user groups better leverage and benefit from the many solutions offered by space applications for: Road & Traffic Management, Environmental Protection, Marine Environment & Maritime Transportation, Emergency Response, and Sustainable Energy.
  • Space Business Support and Financing Opportunities, including ESA Investment Forum, pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings, and SME coaching sessions.
  • Workshop on the future Galileo PRS.
  • Plus, a range of side and socials events will be held throughout the three days of the event including the official Conference Reception to be held in the European Space Expo on Wednesday, 6 November 2013.

Event Objectives

  • Drive growth in the space sector.
  • Bring together developers and users of space-based solutions to gather insights about current developments and society needs.
  • Raise awareness of new users how space technology can make a real difference to their lives/business.
