First NAGU (Notice Advisory to Galileo Users) published on June 18th !

On Tuesday June 18th, the Galileo Service Center in Madrid relayed the first NAGU (Notice Advisory to Galileo Users).

A NAGU is a small text message informing the users about the "bill of health" of the Galileo satellites constellation, such as the one below.

The emission of this first NAGU is a major step in the Galileo deployment as it introduces the delivery of services to users.

It is a joint effort of ESA, GSA and of the EC service teams.

- ESA is the acronym of the European Space Agency;

- The European GNSS Agency (GSA) manages public interests related to European GNSS programmes. The Agency's strategic objectives include the achievement of a fully operational GALILEO system, creating the world's leading satellite navigation system for civilian applications;

- Galileo is the name of the European Satellite Navigation programme.
