Awards Ceremony - European Social Innovation Competition
The EU Commission is offering a prize to social innovations that have a real impact on helping more people move towards work or into new types of work. The European Social Innovation Competition, launched on 1 October 2012, is now in its final stage.
The Awards Ceremony on 29 May 2013, to which ten finalists of the competition will be invited, will mark the culmination of the competition. Join us to celebrate the ten projects and be present when three of the best proposals, as selected by an expert jury, will each be awarded with a prize of €20,000 by José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission.
The Ceremony will be a whole day event, as we want to offer maximum exposure to the contestants and use their examples to illustrate why social innovation is not only needed but can also be an attractive investment.
