This Call for Proposals aims to conclude a Framework Partnership Agreement implemented by an annual operating grant to a European organisation representing SMEs in European standardisation activities.

Following questions received about the call for proposals, the answers are included in the attached documents (2 pdf files).
All the questions received so far, made anonymous, are gathered in two documents. The last one is dated 16 May 2013.
Corrigenda to the call have been made as regards to the VAT and as regards to the costs of affiliated entities.
The objectives of this EU action are to promote the participation of SMEs and their interests in the European standardisation process, as well as to improve SMEs' information on, and use of European standards and to show them the benefits of using standards.
The European organisation representing SMEs in European standardisation will:
- represent the interests of SMEs in the standardisation process at European level,
- raise their awareness for standardisation,
- motivate them to become involved in the standardisation process.
The application shall include a proposal for a first operating grant (for 2013).
The purpose of this grant is to help as many SMEs as possible in the area of the European standardisation, regardless of potential membership of the partner. The partner must focus on the interest of the majority of SMEs in the European Union when managing the grant and choosing actions.
All the information gained through the various activities and their results will be made available on the partner's website and disseminated as broadly as possible by the partner, free of charge and without restriction to all interested parties.
The partner will contribute in a positive, proactive and constructive way to all the matters brought to its attention.
Budget: € 1 500 000 (Maximum EU Contribution)
