Galileo accuracy after the first position fix confirmed !
One week after March 12's first position fix using only Galileo satellites, results are acclaimed by the GNSS community.
Just one week after that ESA performed the first test of position fix in 3 dimensions using the 4 already-launched Galileo satellites, reports from several independent institutes, scientific laboratories and universities do confirm the range of accuracy which has been demonstrated.
Thousands of results are generated by the major search engines on the Web, reflecting the interest of newspapers, bloggers, social media and others.
