In the framework of Galileo programme the European Commission and European GNSS Agency are organizing a dedicated meeting with GNSS chipset and receiver manufacturers to be held in Brussels on the 19th of March 2013.

This meeting is a continuation of dialogue with GNSS chipset ad receiver manufacturers that has been initiated by Vice-President Tajani during the European Space Solution conference in London in December 2012.

The objective of this meeting is to share technical and programmatic information with the GNSS industry representatives.

- GNSS is the acronym for 'Global Navigation Satellite System'

- The European GNSS Agency (GSA) manages public interests related to European GNSS programmes. The Agency's strategic objectives include the achievement of a fully operational GALILEO system, creating the world's leading satellite navigation system for civilian applications.
