Satellite navigation : what does SBAS mean in fact ? Where can I find it ?

A Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) is a navigation system that supplements Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) providing a more accurate and reliable navigation service than GNSS alone.
SBAS provides mainly the Aviation Community with two main capabilities :
To ensure seamless operation, each SBAS system has been developed to the same standard as defined by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) SARPs Annex 10.
EGNOS is the European Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) that complements the GPS system.
It is Europe's first venture into satellite navigation and a major stepping-stone towards Galileo, Europe's own global satellite navigation system for the future.
