The Commission would like to obtain an in-depth competitiveness analysis of a specific and representative subsector within the European food industry, the scope of which must be identified, that would be mainly based on the impact assessment of both the relevant food legislation applicable to this subsector and international changes in the agro-food markets (within and outside the European Community) in the context of liberalisation, including the post Doha policy.
