Did you know that you can find online the key terms from the EU chemicals legislation in 22 EU languages?

The multilingual chemicals terminology service, ECHA-term, provided by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) covers around 1000 entries and their definitions from the REACH and CLP Regulations, including the CLP hazard and precautionary statements. This can be useful e.g. if your company manufactures or imports chemicals and produces safety data sheet in multiple languages because you can download the hazard and precautionary phases from ECHA-term.. The service has been running for just over a year and ECHA is now carrying out a user survey before expanding the terminology to include also the new Biocidal Products Regulation adopted in May 2012.
