'EU business day' brings Dutch SMEs and the EU closer
On 10 November, the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce organised the first 'EU business day'. The objective of this event was to bring Dutch small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the EU closer together and to enhance mutual understanding.
Mr. Calleja-Crespo, European Commission's Directorate General for Enterprises and Industry Deputy Director General and European SME Envoy participated in a round table.
This was the occasion to underline some of European Commission's priorities for SMEs: access to finance, 'think small first' principle, and innovation.
Mr. Bart Oskam, Managing Director at Eurofiber said: "Mr. Calleja has shown us that SMEs matter and that he is personally committed to them".
