Support to GNSS Aviation Standardisation

The object of the contract is for the provision of support to the ongoing standardisation activities concerning EGNOS and Galileo systems, provision of assistance for their adoption in the civil aviation and support to the standardisation of new services to be implemented.

The activities to be performed shall consist in supporting the drafting and the evolution of the already proposed system and user receiver standards for Galileo and SBAS including development of Galileo Stand-alone and combined Galileo/GPS/SBAS receiver standards, development of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) for Galileo and introduction of L5 frequency in the current SBAS standards. The work shall include also coordination and review of the standards by the key actors in the domain and the relevant standardisation forums.
