Since 2004 the European Commission is present as exhibitor at the BIO Convention, an annual biotechnology event gathering more than 15.000 participants from over 60 countries worldwide.
The booth of the Commission (#3153) jointly organised by DG Enterprise and Industry, DG Research and EMA will be a networking point for the European biotechnology industry with the aim to market the European added value not only regarding innovation, research and entrepreneurship but also as a gathering and networking force. The European Commission will host three break-out sessions on personalised medicines, rare diseases and the Innovation Union.
