The first Calypso Workshop for 2011 (social tourism) will be held in Vuokatti, Finland, in collaboration with Kainuu Region and Able Access for All Exchange (AAAE), one of the projects awarded Calypso co-financing.
Social tourism allows as many people as possible to go on holiday and therefore, significantly aids mobility. Moreover, it can also contribute to combat seasonality.
The workshop will focus on recent initiatives concerning Calypso and its target groups, with emphasis on the four projects currently being implemented.
The CALYPSO Workshop will be followed by a Joint Session CALYPSO - IMMODI on the 15th June, and an IMMODI meeting on the 16th June.
IMMODI is another European Commission financed project (INTERREG IVC) dealing with the transfer of experiences in e-health and e-government services in mountain and rural areas.
