DG Enterprise and Industry of the European Commission is taking part in the kick-off meeting organised by the Toy Industry of Europe (TIE), aiming at broadcasting and explaining the new Directive on Toys Safety (2009/48/EC).
Detailed information will be given about the obligations of the manufacturers, the importers and the distributors of toys.
