The current survey, a successor of earlier SME Observatory Surveys, was carried out in the 27
Member States of the European Union (25 at the time of the fieldwork), as well as in Norway, Iceland
and Turkey - in the countries participating in the Multiannual Programme for Enterprise &
Entrepreneurship - under the framework of the Flash Eurobarometer survey series.
