In view of the low level of internationalisation of European SMEs, the Commission launched a project on "Supporting the internationalisation of SMEs" to understand the barriers that impede greater SME involvement on international operations and the drivers that foster the process.<br/>This is the final report based on the recommendations of the experts and supported by statistical data and studies on the subject.
