The Commission launched a feasibility study of the pilot action 'Erasmus for young entrepreneurs'. The study showed that both host entrepreneurs and start-up entrepreneurs expect business to business contacts from which they can really benefit. The new mobility scheme should be non bureaucratic and highly flexible. Intermediary organisations that are close to hosting and visiting entrepreneurs should have a filtering function ensuring the selection of high quality projects and the establishment of sustainable partnerships and network.
Scope of the study
Analyse the supply side of the planned pilot action, i.e. the needs and interests of potentially participating entrepreneurs.
Test different scenarios and make proposals on how mobility activities of young entrepreneurs and those young people intending to launch an enterprise could be efficiently organised.
Define the scope, objectives, target groups, selection process, financial support mechanism and evaluation of the planned pilot project.
Contribute to the preparation of the implementation of the planned pilot project.
Develop relevant guidelines.
