Mutual recognition
Articles 9(2) and 12(4) of the Regulation specify that the Commission must draw up and regularly update "a list of Product Contact Points" as well as "a non-exhaustive list of products which are not subject to Community harmonisation legislation".
These two lists are online services, provided by the European Commission, to facilitate the exchange of information between economic operators, Product Contact Points and/or the competent authorities of the Member States.
