Dear Readers,
This is a special issue of the newsletter of the Sectoral e-Business Watch (SeBW), inviting you to the project's highlight event of 2009: the annual conference which will take place in Hotel Bloom in Brussels on 29 October 2009. The conference is entitled "ICT and e-business for an innovative and sustainable economy". At the conference, the final results of the studies conducted in 2009 will be presented and discussed. Below you find the programme. A pdf version is available here.
The conference focuses on the economic impact of ICT on innovation and environmental sustainability as well as on the implications for competitiveness and policy. It is the sixth e-Business Watch Conference, first organised in 2002, regularly attracting more than 100 participants - including policy makers, representatives from business and business associations, consultants and researchers. It offers a great opportunity to exchange ideas on current and future developments in ICT and e-business. For further information, for example about the speakers, please see the conference website.
Participation is free of charge and open to all interested parties, but prior registration is required. Please note that travel and other expenses cannot be reimbursed except for invited speakers, panellists and Advisory Board members. If you are interested in participating, please register online.
We are looking forward to meeting you at the Conference!
