THE PEOPLE 2 PEOPLE PROGRAMME (P2P)

The P2P Programme, one of the three strands of the Civil Society Facility , provides a prime opportunity for civil society organisations (CSOs) in the candidate and potential candidate countries and territories to EU enlargement to expand their knowledge about the EU and the accession process through visits to the European Institutions, meetings with European  civil society organisations and the opportunity to network internationally and regionally.

P2P in summary

Study Tours

The P2P Programme organises and finances EU study tours for civil society organisations on a large range of topics concerning the EU acquis. Check the library of P2P events

Topics

The topics under P2P are defined by the Directorate General for Enlargement, in accordance with the political, legislative or social priorities established for the regions or countries concerned.

Beneficiaries

Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkey; Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Serbia

Participants

The P2P Programme targets all layers of civil society. The selection of participants is conducted by DG Enlargement with the assistance of the European Union Delegations in the beneficiary countries.
