Aim of the Assistance

The main objective is to analyse the actual situation of women in rural areas in Western Balkans, Turkey and Iceland and to present the experience of EU member states in this area. Key topics (e.i. employment, inequality of gender in agriculture, education and training for women, rural tourism) will be presented by speakers from the FAO, universities and international organisations.

Proposed action

Study Tour.

Target Audience

Around 40 participants from civil society organisations acting as representatives of women in rural areas in the Western Balkans,Turkey and Iceland will attend the study visit.
