REDAH - Regional Economic Development for Herzegovina has been established in 2003 as a result of aspiration of relevant stakeholders from the region to take more active approach regarding the issues of mutual interest and with the aim of faster economic development of the local communities and thus achieve balanced development of the whole region as well.
The purpose of RIC is to provide services to the SMEs and micro business in the region. RIC is based upon the creation and operation of 22 First Stop Shops in 22 municipalities. Each First Stop Shop is focused upon supporting the SME sector and it is connected with RIC. REDAH provided technical assistance to municipal staff in order to build their capacities so that First Stop Shops are able to provide wide spectrum of services to the SMEs in the region.
RIC is a multi-purpose information-communication and service centre established in REDAH and it gathered information about unused industrial capacities and natural resources, financing possibilities, domestic and foreign market, procedures for registration of SMEs with all templates, economic laws, employment agencies, training available, fairs, subsidies from local government as well as EU funds and lot of other information that will support SMEs as well as micro businesses in Herzegovina.
