Health and food safety

Paving the way to a high level of health protection, of food safety through safe farm to table measures and adequate processes and equipment is one of the key objectives of the financial and technical assistance awarded to candidate countries and potential candidates. Projects on the ground involve strengthening capacity and creating and reinforcing standards in public health-related areas, as well as in phytosanitary and veterinary areas.
