Aide financière à la Bosnie-Herzégovine

Dotation financière pour 2013: €108.84 millions d'euros
La Bosnie Herzégovine a accès:
- au volet I de l'IAP (aide à la transition et renforcement des institutions);
- au volet II de l'IAP (coopération transfrontalière).

Cette aide est gérée par la délégation de l'UE en Bosnie Herzégovine.

L'aide de l'UE est axée sur les aspects suivants:
- améliorer les capacités et l'efficacité de l'administration publique;
- renforcer l'État de droit en aidant le pays à réformer le secteur de la justice et à lutter contre la criminalité organisée et la corruption;
- soutenir le développement économique et social.

Transition Assistance and Institution Building

One part of the assistance (Component I) focuses on implementing the main priorities of the European partnership. In particular it involves investment and measures aiming at institution building, as well as transition and stabilisation measures still necessary in the Western Balkans. It is delivered through annual national and multi-beneficiary programmes.

The purpose of support under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) programme is to help candidate and potential candidate countries and territories – the Beneficiaries – to progress towards fully meeting the Copenhagen political and economic criteria as well as adopting and implementing the EU acquis. The Multi-beneficiary actions will complement and add value to the support given under the National Programmes.

Cross-Border Co-operation

The other part of the assistance (Component II) supports cross-border cooperation activities between Bosnia and Herzegovina and EU member states as well as with candidate and potential candidate countries. It may also help Bosnia and Herzegovina participate in Structural Funds' trans-national co-operation programmes under the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument.
