In December 2008, the EAR will officially close its doors as its mandate is coming to an end. ‘Now we are gradually handing over our operations, starting from Kosovo.

The EAR Pristina Centre has transferred all CARDS programmes and contracts to the EC Liaison Office (ECLO). EAR Kosovo has since 2000 managed more than 1,600 Contracts ranging in value from €5,000 to €50m.
Currently 150 contracts are still open and have been transferred to the ECLO.
