Effekter av utvidgningen

Här nedan hittar du en rad studier om resultaten av 2004 års utvidgning och om vilka effekter det har haft för EU:s invånare. Mer information kommer att läggas ut de närmaste månaderna.

Materialet finns bara på originalspråket. En del av studierna har gjorts av oberoende institutioner och organisationer i olika länder.   • Five Years of an Enlarged EU - Economic achievements and challenges, European Economy 1/2009
    According to the analysis of the European Commission, the 2004/07 enlargement has been an overall success for the EU and its citizens. It has contributed to significant improvements of living standards in new member countries, to modernisation of their economies and to more stabilised institutions and laws. It has created new investment and export opportunities for enterprises in the older member states.
