What do we want to achieve?

The EU needs to devise and deploy high-performance, low-carbon technologies to reach its 2020 and 2050 targets for cutting CO₂ emissions.
EU policy in this field is set by the Strategic energy technologies plan which contains measures related to planning, implementation, resources and international cooperation.
