Objective of the consultation
This questionnaire seeks your views on key
principles and criteria/indicators to be developed at EU level to ensure
that the biomass for energy purposes comes from sustainable sources. The
Commission has undertaken to report on such requirements by 2010 in its
proposal for a Directive on the promotion of the use of energy from
renewable sources (COM-2008-19)
