2011 Progress reports
Article 22 of Directive 2009/28/EC on Renewable requires Member States to submit a report to the European Commission (EC) on progress in the promotion and use of energy from renewable sources by 31 December 2011, and every two years thereafter. The sixth report, to be submitted by 31 December 2021, shall be the last report required.
Template for the Member States' reports
In view of facilitating the reporting and ensuring completeness and comparability of the Member State reports, the EC has prepared a guidance template for the progress reports.

Members States' progress reports
The reports describe the overall renewable energy policy developments in each Member State and their compliance with the measures set out in the Directive and the National Renewable Energy Action Plans of each Member State. Member States' progress reports are posted in their original language as soon as they have been received by the EC and their translation in English is posted as soon as available.
