What do we want to achieve?
The EU seeks secure supplies from sustainable sources, at competitive prices and aims to improve coordination and information sharing among its member countries, so they can speak with a single voice abroad.
The EU already has a series of agreements with outside countries, ranging from specific energy provisions in bilateral agreements and specific agreements on energy cooperation, to multilateral treaties.
