Privacy Statement

Your personal data are processed in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data.

The controllers of the processing operation are the following:

The purpose of this processing operation is to allow the EACI to communicate with the applicants and to assess the technical capacity of the applicants and the composition of the team put forth in proposals submitted in response to calls for proposals under the Intelligent Energy Europe 2 programme.

The legal basis of the processing operation are Article 5 (a) of Regulation EC 45/2001 whereby processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, and Article 5 (b) of Regulation EC 45/2001 whereby processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject¹.

The replies to the questions are obligatory since all the information requested is necessary to make technical capacity evaluations for applicants applying for funding in response to the calls for proposals.

The recipients of your data will be (i) EACI staff members responsible for evaluating proposals submitted in response to calls for proposals, (ii) legal officers, (iii) the Director of the EACI, and (iv) relevant staff members of the EACI's parent DG.
The information in question will not be communicated to third parties, except where necessary for the purposes outlined above.

Your data will be retained for two years after the end of the evaluation period, if the submitted proposal is not chosen. Otherwise, for five years after the grant agreement has ended.

Data will be removed at the end of this period.

You have the right to access your personal data and the right to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
