IntellEbase is the European Commission's public dissemination database for non-technological projects supported by the Community in the field of energy efficiency (SAVE programme) and renewable energy sources (ALTENER programme).

Here you will find detailed and summarised information on most of the 700 SAVE and ALTENER projects from 1996 and onwards. All future projects under the new "Intelligent Energy - Europe" programme (EIE) will later be added to this database. A list of the contracts signed after the EIE 2003 call can be found by using this link (MS-Excel format).

Your feedback is highly appreciated and you are invited to send your comments to tren-intelligentenergy@cec.eu.int , mentioning "IntellEbase".

IntellEbase is coupled to a Search engine, which makes it easy for you to search for specific projects or topics. You can choose between a basic search, an advanced search, and a free text search.
Search tips:
  • It is recommended that you combine fixed search criteria with your free text search.
  • You can select more than one entry for each criterion (e.g. 2001 & 2003) by using the CTRL + SHIFT keys.
  • Search results will be sorted by call year.
  • The free text search does only check the text fields, not the fields for titles, acronyms etc.
