The twelth plenary meeting of the European Nuclear Energy Forum (ENEF) will take place in Prague, Czech Republic, on 22-23 May 2017. Representatives of EU governments, European institutions, the nuclear industry and regulators, electricity consumers, and civil society will discuss the opportunities and risks of nuclear energy, and its role in EU energy policy, especially the Energy Union. Registration for the event is still open.
An interactive discussion on '60 years of Euratom' will be held on the first day of the event. On the second day, two panels will be held, one on 'Radioactive Waste and Spent Fuel Management in the EU', and one on the 'Standardisation potential in the supply chain of nuclear power plants and potential cross-benefits/costs from a regulatory point of view for a harmonisation of licensing procedures'. These panels will be webstreamed.
