Today's CEF Energy Virtual Info Day will provide information about the 2017 CEF Energy Call for Proposals, which makes €800 million of EU funding available to finance energy infrastructure projects. Representatives of the European Commission and the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) will provide advice on preparing a successful proposal and on applying for grants; representatives from the European Investment Bank will offer guidance on other sources of EU financing for Projects of Common Interest (PCIs). They will also answer your questions: send them in now. The event will take place between 10.00 and 12.40 CET and will be webstreamed.
The CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) Energy Call for Proposals is open to electricity, natural gas and smart grids PCIs: these are energy infrastructure projects that are considered essential to meeting the EU's energy policy objectives of affordable, secure and sustainable energy. The call will remain open until 12 October 2017.
