EICTA Self Commitment on Televisions and DVD Players

The European Information & Communications Technology Industry Association (EICTA) self committed themselves to improve the improve the energy performance of the following household consumer electronic products sold in the European Union:

  • CRT based Televisions

  • non-CRT based Televisions

  • Digital Versatile Discs(DVD)

In addition, commitment on Personal Video Recorders (PVR) is to be developed.
