Community hard coal imports from third countries for power stations

Council regulation (EC) N° 405/2003 of 27 February 2003, concerning Community monitoring of hard coal originating in third countries.

Please note that the EU-15 figures for the first semester 2004 are based upon the declarations of the 15 Member States of the European Union (the Member States prior to 1st May 2004). These declarations therefore include the imports of coal from the new Member States, including Poland and the Czech Republic.

The figures for EU-25 for the first semester 2004 are based upon the declarations of all the 25 current Member States of the European Union. Therefore figures for intra-Community trade (including trade with Poland and the Czech Republic) are excluded from these figures.
